This is a known issue that will be fixed in the 6.1i release.

As read here x*l*nx is working on a new version of its software. The realise date is unknown. The main issue that guys are working on is XST tool.

Could you give the link of ISE5.2?
 

xilinx ise 6.1i will be released at Sep 2003.
It will support Linux Natively.

Hi!

Go to x*l*nx site and ask for eval. copy of the sw. This is the best way to get it, and also the fastest.

To be frank I don't care the new version of ISE,I only need a tool to place and route and genearate the timing sim file.So the new feature has nothing to me.
