pic wireless transmitte pic wireless receiver

I have no idea which PIC model should be used to connect to what kind of wireless module to build a remote controller needed to control light and fan.

Wireless module for the remote control needs to transmit signal.

now, microchip have MRF24J40 chip, is a complete IEEE 802.15.4 radio and operates in the 2.4GHz band

Thanks nooknikz!

May i know if this MRF24J40 chip is compatible with PIC16F628 or PIC16F628A?

You can use a PIC with embedded FSK transceiver. Try this PIC12F675.

Hope this helps.

u can use TXA434 and RXA434 module. the interfacing is easy and the circuit is easily available

Hi
Every Rx Tx module will have a data pin. In Tx module, connect the data from the mcu to data and for Rx module, mcu have to read from the data pin. for this purpose u can use any pic variant that is familiar and available within your reach
