why thr r vast fields called VLSI and EMBEDED?

embedded is nothin but a vlsi product.embedded can hav on chip memory also..
but what makes these 2 as 2 main fields...?
plz gimme a proper answer..!
 

dear frnd who told you that embedded is nothing but vlsi product???

micro controller micro processor or dsp processor is vlsi product but embedded is not vlsi product it is field that uses different vlsi products such a way that it can generate cheaper and very targeted application based solution no doubt now a days vlsi and embedded both touching each other

but they are purely different area...

please tell me what do you mean by embedded and what do you mean by vlsi than i can clear you about both in depth... or any one in this forum will be capable to clear doubt but generally people don't take interest in such things as they dont here to clear such basics...
