why the two inductors be equal in cuk dc-dc converter?

as titile,are there disadvantages if don't equal?
 

If I can remember inductor value into the coupled version is used also to do some ripple cancellation, in other word carefully selection of the two inductors value should be able to null the ripple, look a this link:



what you're asking for is into the paper 1 on page 12 and figure 7.

thanks ,but it is both inductors is extented to a transformer,then the ripple can be canceled
