If you downloaded the current version, then it is probably 64 bit.
32 or 64 bit is a major difference in computer systems. (64 bit is more recent and more advanced.) Open your System control panel to find out which your computer is. If it is older then it could be 32-bit, making it incompatible with 64-bit software.
