why move origin of a cell

hi there,
why do we need to move origin of a cell in virtuoso layout design whenever we finish a cell ? what is the final step supposed to do? thanks
 

origin of a layout cell should be at left down corner. Whenever you will instance this cell in other then it will show position in current cell according to origin in original cell.
