Microstrip T-junction is widely used in various circuits, often without "mitering" (https://www.microwaves101.com/encyclopedias/mitered-bends) and compensation structures (rectangular cuts, 45° cuts).
Why simple 90° bend shows poor S11, while 90° T-junction shows almost no reflections, how this may be explained?
