why impedance is varying in with polarity of the multimeter?

In ASIC devices, why the impedance is varying if you reverse the polarity of the multimeter while measuing the impedance between signal pin/power pin with Ground pin.

it may have to do with pn or np junctions inside your device(IC) geting reverse bias or fwd bias, when you change the polarity.
