Hello friends
i am new to DSP field. i have been working on signal conditioning of LVDT using DSP. I used signal conditioner AD 698 for LVDT, but there are some disadvantages like
1) phase shift between pri and sec of LVDT, which will affect the performance
2) power dissipation in the passive networks
3) aging and tolerence of the analog components
4) non-linearity in the transducer at full scale deflection
5)residual nuu-point signal

i red some documents on DSP, it is said that all these disadvantages are oversomed by DSP with good accuracy. How it possible? poit (2) and (3) is reasonable points i agree. but how to overcome other problems.
what are the advantages of the DSP over analog control technique in practical ?
what are all the disadvantages of the DSP ?

please help me out

Step height measurement instrument, was one of the LSI test equipment, and the step height signal can be acquired using LVDT transducer,The design of interface circuit between LVDT sensor and AD698 in data sample circuit, and method of calculating some parameter were analysed.

Hi Anyone, make an DSP to read LVDT sensors?

Is it possible to do this without trouble?
