Hi,

I know how the bootloader works and what job it's doing. But i've got a question - why do we need bootloader, why was the bootloader born?

Why we can't directly load the kernel into RAM from flash memory without bootloader? If we load it what will happen? In fact, processor will not support it, but why are we following the procedure?

your question has the answer , but hidden.

Hi,
....
Why we can't directly load the kernel into RAM from flash memory without bootloader? ....

from flash memory , to RAM memory , who will load it after reset ?

The question is too general to achieve a specific answer. Most processors used with bootloaders have insufficient RAM or can't execute code from RAM at all. In theses cases, a bootloader residing in flash is the only option to update the code.

Presuming you are more interested in answers related to specific processors than in an academic discussion about bootloaders in general, tell what's the processor family of interest.
