who is SOC designer, and who is memory designer ??

SOC designer ??

hi guys,
can you elaborate the difference in the work profile of an SOC(System on Chip) designer and a Memory Designer.

by memory designer i mean those engineers who are working for memory companies and their work is to characterize memories
 

SOC designer ??

SOC Design is a semi-custom work. People use the std cell lib for their design.

Memory Design is a full-custom work. Each and every transistor present in the circuit is designed by the designer.

If you are looking for more info, explain what exactly you are looking for.
