Which PIC has built in USART or USART and MSSP ?

which PIC?

hi everbody..

just wonder to know...is there any pic (16F, 18 pins) that have 2 built in USART as 18F?...

and also ...is there any pic (16F, 18 pins) that have usart and mssp?

Sorry I think only some members of the 18 series have two built in USART's

but ..if i'm not mistaken F88 only have SSP not MSSP ...

actually i want to use master mode so that there 'easy' to ,implement hardware i2c to communicate with eeprom..

any idea.?..pls advice

which PIC?

Check microchips website and compare the datasheets or features of the said devices.

Yes you are right 16F88 has only functionality for I2C slave implemented in hardware, I2C master must be implemented using bit banging :-(
