Hi,
I am currently working on a university project that require implementing Adaptive Noise cancellation algorithm on to an FPGA using Matlab not SIMULINK, basically we need to write code on matlab and port it in to an FPGA making matlab compatible with FPGA in some way. I have been researching quite a bit on to this project and I came across various papers that emphasizes on using a platform/compiler that would convert Matlab codes in to C and than from C in to verilog.
This is a very twisted method of working but I heard that through AccelDSP I can directly write codes from Matlab in to verilog. Could someone verify this for me please? And if this is the case than could someone suggest me any starter Xilinx board that I should use in order to start working on my project.
I am extremely new to using FPGA but would really love to learn how to operate on this device.....
thanks
