which controller is best for vPhone?

I am making a project on Video phone.
Can anyone tell me which basic microcontroller I should use for this applicaion. I want to do two basic things. 1. Take a video from the webcam and 2.transmit it over and ADSL channel (via ethernet).

Well it won't be an 8051, more like an ARM like used in a PDA.

If it's a school project pick some else, this will be very advanced to build from scratch.
