which constraint guarantees the saturation of two mosfets?

hello all
I want to guarante the mosfets be in saturation region, what equation leads to this target?
 

Vgs>Vgs(threshold) and Vds>Vgs-Vgs(threashold)

Why is there current entering the gate of your mosfets ?
