Hello,
Can any one advice me about the emplacement of the vias GND in my PCB.
Should I made it on the side (top) of my component or just near it ?
And for each component Sould I add a vias or one for all ?

Many Thanks

Hi,

it is not clear what you mean.
Vias are placed in the "vias" layer.

Tell us more about xour pcb, or show pictures.... because there are so much possibilities....

I would like if I should place vias directly on SMD pads. Is this a normal/acceptable practice to follow? Or is it recommended/better to put a short trace and then have a via?

Depends on component, application and on requirements. Vias under pads will be an issue if having components put down with paste and a reflow oven. Vias under pads result in better RF/microwave performance.

<< The paste runs thru the vias and makes the assembly house mad. This is << less of an issue using solder. Via under pads have better thermal
<< performance. Can you provide details of the parts?
