Hi,
A simple method is to use an adjustable voltage regulator like LM317T and apply the voltage to be boosted to the adjustment terminal and use the output as boosted output. Apply suitable voltage to its input terminal such that it is atleast more than 1.5V compared to output.
Limitation: Minimum output will be 1.25 V, is it ok for your application?
Regards,
Laktronics
