I think you are asking about annotation of reference designators?
You can do this manually or you can: Package design, and forward annotate to PCB.
(forward annotate is the easiest way for me)
After doing this you should have all green lights in Project integration of PCB database. Now you will have to re-open DC project. at this point you will have all new symbols annotated.

Renumbering Reference designators is done from PCB, you can find the renumber tool under ECO button on toolbar. After renumbering you will have to back annotate to schematic.

Done!
