as you know, when we calculate the loop gain we set the main input to zero at first.(P249 in the book "design of analog cmos integreated circuits" by Razavi). i want to calculate the loop gain in a switching power supply. the output voltage is constant. but what is the main input in the switching power supply system? the input voltage or the reference voltage?

thanks for any suggestion!

every loop should stable
you can use reference
or other

It is clearly the reference voltage. The output is regulated to become a linear function of the reference voltage, independant of the input voltage!
