What's the differences between jitter and phase noise?

Hi,

They are same but the difference is between frequency and time domain. Read the attached note, hopefully it will clarify.
 

jitter is the wave moving around in time domain, phase noise is the spectral representation of this movement, around center frequencey, but phase noise also contains other unwanted signal contributed bu the circuit.
