whats the difference between atmega8-8pu and atmega8-16pu

can somebody tell me the difference between atmega8-8pu and atmega8-16pu microcontroller
iam a newbe in microcontrollers so please make it simple
 

the -8 is spec'd to work upto 8MHz crystal, and the -16 is up to 16Mhz.
The power voltages should be ~ 5v
