Hi, i need to implement a communication where three commands (1 byte wide) wont carry a CRC number. Therefore i need to difine their representative numbers to be less likely to be confused between them. The bytes have no encoding during the data transmission. Any sugestions of which 8-bit patterns are less liked to be confused between them?

Thank you!

Is it communication between two MCU's or what?
What sort of confusion is of concern?

The communication is between FPGAs, data is recovered using dephased clocks. 4 samples for each bit. Fixed frequency.

thank you!
