hi BTS antenna is microstrip array antenna and it usually contain 8 number and rectangular and circular are the kinds of them

Hi imaasac,

Antennas which are normally used in BTSs are arrays of microstrip elements but their elements are a bit different from ordinary microsrtip antennas and the number of elements depend on the total gain and vertical beamwidth they need. The elements are normally cavity backed and dual or triple band frequency.

Cheers
