what is the use of BLock RAM

What is the use of block RAM in FPGA and i was told that we can download our boot loader to that block RAM.. is it possible... if so can u please tell me how is it possible..

Block RAMs are advanced memory components which already embedded into FPGA. It is used to generate RAM.
When you code contains memory components such as RAM, the FPGA tools will generate that memories automatically from RAM blocks.
