what are the standard for real-time?

Re: delay?

Well in wireless cellualr systems, there is always a negligible delay between the transmitter (BS) and receiver (MS) i m talking about broadcast channel (BC), and there is no standard rule that if lets say delay is 20ms(just and example numer), we will consider as no delay. Thats my understanding about delay, if you are talking in the sense of wireless networks.

Re: delay?

it realtime broadcasting always has its delay...
and i was thinlking if is there a set standard that would consider that delay to be a realtime transmision...
lets say 100ms delay would still be consider as realtime, as a maxmimun...
thats my question.

delay?

i think it should be less then 0.1 second, so it can not be felt

Re: delay?

:D
100ms =.1s
lol

what i realy need is the standard....maybe the ISO, ANSI or a group that set that standard!!

Re: delay?

Hi,

I think there is no standard value.

Re: delay?

i think??
there,s is always a standard on it...
i think i already read it...
its 200-400ms, now what i need is a proof of it..

What BC u looking for? and dont be so aggressive, if u know the answer, why are u asking then? share this for the benefit of every one.

Are you looking for BC in wireless comms? BC in TV, BC in Radio? BC in which aplication?

I can discuss with you BC in wireless cellular systems, if u like.

Hope no offense.
