I need to find out the inverse laplace of this function

H(s) = s/(s+a)

What is the inverse laplace of this function? How did you arrive at that?

Thanks in advance.

iVenky,

What is the inverse laplace of this function? How did you arrive at that?

s/(s+a) = 1-(a/(s+a))

So, invlaplace(s/(s+a)) = invlaplace(1) - invlaplace(a/(s+a) = δ(t) - a*e^-a*t .

Ratch
