What is the future of CMOS?

Future of CMOS !!!

Hi friends,

Is it high time we find a substitute of for CMOS logic ??

Or will it come back again saying not this time ??

Please help me weigh the prons and cons of this topic..

Reaserchers started moulding the present cmos transistors .
For example currently at high speed circuits in order to achieve low power consulption the are substituted by precharge logic circuits like pseudo NMOS circuits .

Also reaserchers they have modelled finfet wherein you have two gates connected to the source and drain

Also people are working on quqntum dots and molecular electronics
