what is the effect of k factor during calculation of free space Losss....
can any body helps me in this regaurd.

Re: effect of K factor

I think it's relating to stability, are you designing an LNA? if so then it's relating to stability

Re: effect of K factor

The K factor related to the space loss is multi-path effect.

It's about two types of distribution , like ricean , rayleigh .

Define the fading factor

When K = 0 , it's rayleigh distribution

When K near infinite , it's will be gaussian distribution

It can define K = LOS received power / NLOS received power

LOS = line-of-sight , NLOS = none-line-of-sight
