What is the difference of MAX232 to MAX232C?

Best regards,
glenndr_15

what is max232

At least the working temperatures are different:

MAX232C has 0°C-70°C (office), whereas MAX232E has -40°C to 85°C (industrial).

PS. 232A is also 0°C-70°C, but data rate ability is up to 200kbps.

Hope helps.
Cheers

MAX232C have built in capacitors.
while for with MAX232, you have to connect two or three capacitor for its proper operation.....

max232 industrial

you mean guys thier difference is in physical construction? interms of operation they are the same?

max232e vs. max232c

yah, both are using for interfacing microcontroller with serial port RS232.
u will need only extra capacitor in case of max232.
i hav used both ICs myself
