iip3 definition

For low IF mixer, the output port is generally not power matched. How to define the IIP3 or OIP3. BTW, 1dB desen is refering to the voltage gain drop, right?

Thank you for your reply. But I am not asking the basic concept about IIP3, which is available in every text book. What I am asking is the Low IF mixer IIP3.

oip3 definition

yes, I am also very confused about this definition

oip3 mixer

plot dbv vs. input power dbm, then do the same extrapolation.

oip3 iip3

why dbv vs dbm the units are different
