What is the best tool for PIC?
(C compiler, Linking, Emulation, Debug...)

Mplab from microchip, a free download, works fine, for a C compiler, use Hi-Tech. It works well with mplab.

Development Tool for PIC microcontroller´s

Hi brother´s in my opinion:

1º IAR C COMPILER - w#ww.iar.com
2º CCS C COMPILER - w#ww.ccsinfo.com
3º HITECH C COMPILER (serch address with the google)

Hello,
Hitech for the C compiler and MPLAB.
For the debug I used the In Circuit Debugger 1 for the 16F87x family.
All of this tools works well.
You can find schematic of the ICD and the demo board on the forum.
