this kit is widely used in academics and engineers for learning or to make protos since its cheap prize, good availability, and it includes a compelte package needed for starting with FPGAs.A wide number of accessories are available for this board.(Hope i dont sound biased)

It is a very good education kit.
As said earlier refer to its documentation for more details

But where YOU want to use it. I mean that in which application you want to use it.
