so basically i am newbie in ASIC and just figuring out What is STIL DPV and what DPV stands for
 

never heard of the term. please give some context.
 

Probably means dynamic property verification...
 

I got it.
DPV stands for Direct Pattern Validation, used erlier with tetramax for GLS.
But it is not much used now.
