What is line level voltage in mic terminology??

Mic - do you mean microphone?

When talking about audio equipment, "line level" usually means 700mV RMS for 0 dB level.

A microphone outputs a much smaller signal, usually a few millivolts.

which type of microphone you use ?

the line voltage varies from type to another. Ex: Dynamic Mic produce about 20 mV. Electret Mic produce from 1mv to 7mv

I've tried to use condenser mic.
Amm what type of mic is used on the headphone sets??
And one more que, is it ok to use op-amp as my pre-amp?

What S/N do you need? do you need realy good 1/F noise performance or not?
