There is no pure inductive load and capacitive loads practically (small resistance will be there)
Inductive loads are the one whose inductance is high compare to its Resistance.
For example induction motors, or a simple coil.
Capcitive loads are the one whose capacitance is high compare to its Resistance.
for Example PF correction capacitors, synchronous motors or simply a bulk capaciators;
We catagories these on the power factor also.
inductive : Its lagging PF
Capacitive : Its Leading PF
Resistive : Its Unity PF
hope it helps.

the resistve load is a pure resistance load such as resistor, whreras inductive load such as ideal coils , and capacitve load is like ideal capacitors ( the difference between capactive and inductive load one makes the current lead the voltage and the other is the opposite)
