in definition what is virtual reality?
haptic interfaces .. nanomodulation.. and multi modal perception are used in nanorobotics..
can someone give me relevant information on these things....

Re: nanorobotics

VIRTUAL REALITY: An artificial environment created by computers, in which people can immerse themselves and feel that this artificial reality really does exist.

HAPTIC INTERFACES: All the physical sensors that provide us with a sense of touch at the skin level and get feedback information from our muscles and joints.

NANOMODULATION: It is the process in which several classes of nanotransmitters regulate in diverse populations

nanorobotics

Virtual Reality : It is a technology, which allows a user to interact with a computer-simulated environment, be it a real or imagined one. Most current virtual reality environments are primarily visual experiences, displayed either on a computer screen or through special or stereoscopic displays, but some simulations include additional sensory information, such as sound through speakers or headphones.

Haptic Interfaces : It refers to a technology which interfaces the user via the sense of touch by applying forces, vibrations and/or motions to the user. This mechanical stimulation may be used to assist in the creation of virtual objects (objects existing only in a computer simulation), for control of such virtual objects, and to enhance the remote control of machines and devices (teleoperators). haptic technology has made it possible to investigate in detail how the human sense of touch works, by allowing the creation of carefully-controlled haptic virtual objects.
Nano Modulation : It is nothing but a class of modulation process involving slot waveguides and electro-optic polymer claddings.
