data path block

ADDER should be one of them.

Re: data path block

Almost every design can be partitioned into 2 funtional parts.
1). Datapath blocks such as collection of the following: adder, multiplier, muxes, and all arithmatic/logic operations
2). Control block, which sends control signal to datapath to operate.
For Example: if you see page Number 48 in
http://www.vlsiip.com/video/MscPrj.pdf
you can clearly see the design partitioned into datapath/control
Hope it helps,
Kr,
Avi

Re: data path block

Hi Avi,
Nice project. I always want to learn some knoledge of video compression, but did not find time and how to cut in. I will go over your project to see if I could understand some points of Video. That will be great if you could give some suggestions on how to get into video field. More practical stuff not theory.
