What is a 1525 compass sensor?

Does anyone know of a 1525 compass sensor? I am supposed to use it to make a digital compass but have no idea about how it works??? Plz help

It's a very interesting sensor that you have presented!
Take a look at this link:

My suggestion is you give both outputs to a/d converter. Fix an upper and lower threshold for the upper and lower crossing line. Find out which of the two, sine or cosine is beyond the threshold. You'll get the sector information now. Use the other conversion result to find out the angle from a sine look up table from 0-90 degrees.
