Does anybody know what the term "(maximum) update frequency" for a D/A converter refers to?

Re: DAC update frequency

This is the DAC operation frequency -- I guess so.

Re: DAC update frequency

it is the frequency at which the digital data is aquired from the source and convert this digital data into analog data this will be measured by the number of times the data is been converted by the DAC in a second

DAC update frequency

it is equivalent to sampling frequency in dac

regarinding the DAC

what is the difference between update rate , sampling rate and settling time of DAC
