hi!
i want to know that what does '.' represents in "Retlw .128" command. Is this indicates a float number or something else please reply to
"muhammad.qasim@fti.com.pk"

The dot before the number tells the assemble this is a deciamal number, instead of hex. This is useful when the radix is set to hex, because the assembler then treats any nymber as a hex number. But if you add the dot you tell it to treat it as a decimal number.
So in your case, it's like retlw 0x80.
