Does anybody knows why R-S-T?
what´s the meaning of each letter?

Re: Why R-S-T?

I don't think there is any particular reason behind the RST terminology ..
RST usually labeles INPUTS, then, someone else just added UVW, known as outputs, and that's it .. as far as the 3-phase terminology is concerned ..

Re: Why R-S-T?

In amateur radio, it is a three letter coding system: Readability, Strength and Tone.
