what are types of capacitors and difference between polarised and non polarised capacitor

Re: capacitor

check these

capacitor

non-polarized caps can be connected in any manner. It doesn't matter if you reverse the connection. But polarized caps have to be connected properly for normal operation.Their pins are marked + and -.

capacitor

the difference is that in polarized one you have to connect the +ve terminal of capacitor to the +ve potentian in circuit and so on.. but the nonpolarized one it doesn't matter
the polarized type is usually have large capacitance more than the nonpolarized ones
