Hi everybody
I am designing an LNA in ADS. I am using the NE3210s01 for the design and as mentioned in the datasheet i bias it at the point Q (2V,10mA). When i use a simple matching network (for example a single stub) everything is ok. But i want to use a more sophisticated matching network that gives me some tuning capabilities.I am using the one mentioned in Hewlett Packard AN967. I have attached the schematic. When i use the more complicated matching network, the bias current jumps from 10mA to 30+mA. I suspect some possible reasons but i am not sure. Any ideas why this is happening?
Thnx in advance
George
