The device was made on a Russian lamp 6P45S. The system is a copy of **broken link removed** with a few modifications. Glow by mass using two resistors 47Ohm 6W. The coil is activated by means of a rebuilt LUK15. Zero position – obvious, 1 position – activation of glow, 2 position – glow on, activation of the anode. Turning off in reverse order. TS50/11 taken from Neptun works as the glow transformer. In the catalog, there was 2*7,5V 2*2,6A at the output. After re-wound 16 coils of each column under load there was exactly 6,3V. After that operation, the transformer was flooded twice with varnish. Electronics, except the oil capacitors – 4 pieces 4uF 630V – was mounted on the PCB. The second grid resistor consists of three pieces of wire 3,3k 12W – instead of 10k 10W as in the original project.
The whole was mounted to the textolite plates 12mm thick, twice lacquered with electroinsulating varnish. Elements fastening the winding and the ignition system were made of 5mm textolite.
The primary winding is wound on 110mm sewer pipe. The anode winding is 18 coils by wire 2,5mm2, while the excitation winding is 18 coils of 0,6mm DNE. The secondary winding is wound on the sewer pipe 50mm with a length of 270mm, by wire 0,28mm DNE, of which the length is 245mm. The whole was six times covered with electroinsulating lacquer ftalur.
