I not understand the procedure of measuring SOLAR and BATTERY voltages. The time the MOSFET Q1 ON, the voltage will be nearly the same on solar and Battery side even if we start to charge the battery from low voltage level...so how could we measure the battery and solar voltage separately while MOSFET is ON???
I thought that we might measure the voltage of battery in zero period of the input PWM signal but is this time enough for adc and to make battery return to its actual voltage level...???

Only you can answer your questions. "is this time enough for adc and to make battery return to its actual voltage level?". How fast is your ADC? How fast is your PWM?

The presence of a battery alters volt levels in your circuit. PV voltage is automatically pulled down to battery voltage. So you cannot directly measure the PV panel. However you can monitor Amperes continually, as well as battery voltage continually. If Ampere flow is satisfactory then charging is going all right.

You can disconnect the circuit temporarily if you wish, in order to measure PV voltage. Or you can attach a resistive load to test power output. This is useful for finding out if your output is affected by such things as sky conditions, dirt on the panel, component conductivity, etc.

thanks" BradtheRad "... I think disconnect the PV temporarily is better idea. because i want to energies a relay when PV voltages are lower then 13 volt.
