voltage controlled oscillator

dear all
i am new to vco design.i have some problems with it.i dont know what should i put in the input of controlled voltage in spectre rf?in hspice? how can i get controlled voltage vs frequency in spectre rf ?in hspice(cscope)?
plz help me,plz
