Hi

I have to use two distinct models depending upon the node voltage, something as follows:

Fig1.jpg

The diodes D1 and D2 have different properties/models. If the voltage at node v1>0, then I want node v1 to be connected (perfectly shorted) to the D1 (as if D2 is not there at all), otherwise to D2 (as if D1 is not there at all).

I wonder if this kind of voltage dependednt use of model would be possible in Keysight the ADS? In fact, I have tried it using SDD as shown in the following:

Fig2.PNG

But, I am not sure if SDD results into a perefctly shorted connection. I guess, it "shields" the parasitics of diodes from rest of the circuit.

(1) If my way of using SDD in this scenerio corect?

(2) If not, what else could be a better solution?

Thanks in advance.
