voice recording problem in apr 9600

I am doing a mini project on voice guider for old people using apr 9600,,,i am tryng to record voice using microphone in apr 9600,,but the busy pin led always glows and there is no beep sound from the speaker when we try to start recording,,,what should i do??

Are you using the exact circuit provided in APR 9600 datasheet? Post your exact circuit and also mention the steps you are following in the recording process.

i have been using this circuit for recording,,,,but when i start recording there is no beep sound...

Power up the device.

Make CE pin low.

Make RE pin low.

Make M1_Message pin low

The device will make a beep

Now speak into the MIC

Make M1_Message pin high (which stops recording and makes a beep).
