voice recognition using RS232, MAX232, RF Tx Rx

Hi,

I am doing a project of automating the mobile robot to a voice recognition robot. I plan to use the computer as the input and so serial port to send out data and covert it using MAX232 to the RF Tx and then the RF Rx will send out signal to the PIC of the mobile robot to drive the motor. May I know how can I connect the MAX232 to RS232? I need at least 4 input commands for the movements of the mobile robot. I am open too if there's any other ideas of automating the robot to voice recognition. Thanks.

Just read the MAX232 datasheet. There are several useful circtuits there. I hope most of your questions will be solved. Good luck!
