sony vph-1031qm
Hello ,
I have repaired a lot of this equipment in the past.
The schematic of power supply not found in the service manual, only a poor block diagram.
The power supply module figure as TK15.
This procedure can be help you
first of all disconnect the main voltage.
I think that you live in Europe and the main voltage is ac 220 Volts.
Check the voltage selector Switch 220/110 located
in the FA- BOARD, and select the appropriated voltage for you country.
Disconnect FA-3 connector FROM THE FA-BOARD.
Disconnect FA-2 connector FROM THE FA-BOARD
Check with multimeter the D1 diode bridge , and D2 diode bridge, and all components from FA BOARD.
Replace 5 ampers fuse.
Connect a 75 watts lamp in serie with ac input
Power on the mains switch located in the front near the interlock socket.
If all is okey the lamp is full bright then bright decrease.
If okey
from the extreme of FA-3 measure 28 Volts DC.
from the extreme of FA-2 measure 380 Volts DC
If all is okey turn off power main switch , and re connect FA-2 AND FA-3 connector from the SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY Module.
Now you need disconnect the connectors from the power supply to the
metallic case located in the right side (lenses are front view) you locate a drilled metallic case, from here video input and ouput connectors.
Inside the box , you found the QA BOARD , disconnect the Q8 connector
and check the voltages from this connector.

If you found problem in the power supply , replace Sanken IC inside hard to find ( don't remember the part number ).
